104 Films Teen Feature 'WE ARE THE FREAKS' is now available on Netflix and iTunes. The film was written and directed by Justin Edgar and stars Michael Smiley (Kill List, Doctor Who), Jamie Blackley (Snow White and the Huntsman), Sean Teale (Skins), Mike Bailey (Skins) and Rosamund Hanson (This Is England, Life’s Too Short). I have a small cameo as the Desk Sergeant towards the end of the film releasing Sean Teale's character from custody. Here's the trailer. 

2015 BBC Audio Drama Award winners Spiteful Puppet have released the cover art and trailer for their brand new 'HOOD' adventure.

I'm delighted to announce that Spiteful Puppet Ltd who won this years BBC Audio Drama Award for the Best Online or Non-Broadcast production 'HOOD - SCRIBE OF SHERWOOD' have just released news of a BRAND NEW 'HOOD' adventure. 'HOOD - WARRIORS' HARVEST' will star as ever 'INSPECTOR GEORGE GENTLY' actor Lee Ingleby.

"The rains have come and Phillip De Nicholay, Lord High Sheriff of Nottingham, has a famine on his hands. Increasingly desperate in his efforts to keep the Shire alive, Phillip finds that old enemies have been gathering both their strength and their forces and now circle, eager to reap a harvest of their own. Before long, he will face his enemies in a fight that will cost him that which he values most..."

 

I will be slipping into my monk's habit for 'HOOD - WARRIORS' HARVEST' once again. As ever it was a terrific few days in the studio, with the added bonus of a welcome addition to the cast (see below *) ... RELEASED THIS SUMMER ...

BBC Radio Drama 'SCORCHED' by Nicola Jones is repeated on BBC Radio 4 Extra and is now available on the Radio iPlayer.

The BBC Radio production 'SCORCHED' written by Nicola Jones and produced and directed by Peter Leslie Wild is enjoying a welcome repeat run at the moment. Starring Tom Roberts and Kim Wall, it was repeated on BBC Radio 4 Extra on Friday 3rd April and now it's available for another 24 days on the BBC's Radio iPlayer here ... I play the cameo role of the Taxi Driver towards the start of the play. Great to hear it again ... 

My first ever computer game voice over job - 20 years ago ... 'WARHAMMER: SHADOW OF THE HORNED RAT'.

Look what I found on You Tube .. a game I did 20 years ago! 'WARHAMMER: SHADOW OF THE HORNED RAT'. This was the first 'computer' game voice over I ever did. I played about a dozen or so characters, some of whom are featured below in a rogues gallery of sorts ...

I remember there were three of us covering all the characters in the game ... myself, Marc Finn and Gavin Naylor and the sessions being great fun. It was originally designed to be played on a PC but they adapted it for the PlayStation.

Well this news rather took my by surprise. If you enjoyed seeing the film at the cinema, ewe'll soon be able to grab a copy to watch at your leisure.

Shaun the Sheep The Movie will be released in the UK on DVD, Blu-ray or as a digital download from June 1st 2015. It'll come with a host of extra features including character profiles and a look behind the scenes!
